What is a home warranty?
A home warranty is a service plan that helps pay to repair or replace covered home systems and appliances — including plumbing — when they break down from normal wear and tear. Homeowners insurance generally covers your home's structure and belongings, but not systems that wear out over time. Coverage, limits, and service fees depend on your plan, so check your contract for details.

Already have a plan?
- Request service through your warranty company. Log in to your warranty company's website or call the number on your contract. For example, American Home Shield members can log in at ahs.com, and OneGuard members can request service online or call 1-888-896-0014.
- Your warranty company assigns a contractor. When JT&K is assigned, we'll contact you to schedule the visit.
- Pay your plan's service call fee and we'll take care of the covered repair.
